This is a great shot, I love the black and white and the use of the rule of 3rds. I think I would like to see the photo composed from lower down, perhaps laying on the ground rather than standing?

I know what you mean when you had to stop and get some photos of it, it looks just so interesting! I think that sort of "feeling" happens to everyone - this turned out really cool!
