I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but i'm curious. Do you change the mount of your leica so it can fit nikon mount?
It's just i'm planing on buying an old leica (maybe M2/M3) but at this moment i can't afford the lens. But i have few nikkor. Now i know that i can shoot with nikkor.
Do you know where to get the adapter online?
