This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I am the most biased mirror. Mirror of the things and people around me, and I am their reflection. I am forcing the soul of the Street into a form of expression of my own soul, and the Street is forcing its lights and shadows, people and objects, faces and hands and feet on me. My act is reacting, and my reacting is the most creative act. The Street is my creator, and I'm the Street's creator. I am a part of the Street that's not a part of it. I am in the Street. The Street is wherever I am. I am the Street. I belong everywhere because I'm just another one of more than 6 billion. I am a Street photographer, even if there's no street and no people in it. I am a Street photographer, I am not an inmate of any definition's prison. I am a Street photographer, I define Street photography.
I am a Street photographer and the Street belongs to me.
Apart from that: if you want to buy a print that's not in my dA store thingy here, just drop me a note.
Hi, I just want to say I really value and admire your work. I shoot film, Tri-x 400 and Tmax as well. I just have to ask, how do you constantly keep finding inspiration on the streets? I love street photography as well but I can't seem to find anything that sparks or catches my attention the way your photos catch yours. Do you have any advice to an aspiring photographer?
inspiration is a difficult word, I'm trying not to get 'inspired' too much for my photography. it's probably more about the motivation to go out and do whatever your street photography is about again and again. it's probably more about motivation and concentration, street photography is a lot about reacting, and you can always train your eye to react a little faster and more precisely and and and. this is probably not a very satisfying answer to you but I'm really having a hard time expressing just what it is that keeps me taking photographs of certain things and not doing so with others.
I think I get the gist of what you're saying. I appreciate that you replied in the first place! Just going through your gallery gives me the strength to want to approach situations a little more closely without having worry about getting criticized or freaking people out. I try to take photos quickly in order to avoid awkward situations, but from what it looks like in your photos is that you take the time to investigate what is around you and analyzing it with your camera and capturing that. Even if that's not true, it feels that way
